Job Description:
Barnes Group Inc. – Manner USA, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a CNC Machinist with experience in Electric Discharge Machining (EDM). The ideal candidate will program and manufacture various product lines on Sinker EDM machines. This position requires a forward thinker with the knowledge and ability to manufacture precision parts for the Plastic Injection Mold Industry. Ability to accurately read blue prints
Ability to set up and locate parts per instructions
Ability to hold required high precision tolerances
Ability to troubleshoot errors and variable conditions
Conduct all proper maintenance required for the EDM machines shop safety rules at all times
Ability to schedule jobs to achieve the maximum unmanned machine hours
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well with a positive attitude
Ability to work well in a team environment or self motivated to work alone
Must be reliable and able to work overtime and weekends when needed
Qualification
Basic understanding of manufacturing high precision parts
Basic understanding of G Code Programming
