Job Description
Experienced Machinist – Full-Time A leading manufacturer of drilling equipment is seeking an experienced Machinist to join our production team. The ideal candidate will operate a variety of production machines and may also assist with mechanical assembly and other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate production machinery including lathes, mills, drills, saws, automatic welders, and water jets. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining and assembly. Set up, adjust, and operate equipment in the correct sequence. Use hand and air tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrenches) to mount and assemble components. Handle parts manually and with hoists, including lifting large components. Perform quality checks using micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Conduct basic maintenance to reduce machine downtime. Use computers to check inventory, part routing, and production records. Work independently and meet production, quality, attendance, and safety expectations. Additional Responsibilities (as applicable): Independently operate CNC lathes, mills, multitasking machines, or water jets. Work with Fanuc and Haas controllers. Operate cranes and forklifts safely. Provide input for process troubleshooting and efficiency improvements. Perform maintenance to maintain optimal equipment performance. Collaborate with machinery reps and keep up to date with industry best practices.
Work Environment:
Indoor manufacturing plant with variable temperature, noise, and environmental conditions. Exposure to physical hazards including powered vehicles, machinery, welding equipment, and chemicals. Must adapt to shifting priorities and workloads with little notice.
Job Requirements:
Familiarity with mechanical repair and assembly tools. Strong reading, clerical, and basic math skills. Regularly able to lift and maneuver items weighing 50+ lbs. Demonstrated strong attendance, safety, motivation, and teamwork.

Schedule:
