CNC Lathe Machinist/Setup OperatorMicrowave Techniques is searching for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist.

We are looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist to add to our team. Microwave Techniques is a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Aluminum, Copper, Brass and Stainless Steel, as well as plastic.

Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC lathes according to blueprint specification.
• Experience selecting the appropriate fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
• Use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
• Essential to have experience in modifying speeds and feeds.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with production deadlines.
• Ability to make minor programming changes.

Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience with CNC Lathes
• Working knowledge of geometric dimension and tolerance
• Must be able to use measuring tools such as micrometer and calipers
• Experience with various metals and plastic
• Technical aptitude and math skills

This position is Monday through Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, or Second Shift option, 2:15 pm to 12:45 am Monday through Thursday.
