Job Description
CNC Machinist Kelly® Engineering is seeking a CNC Machinist for a contract-to-hire position with a manufacturer in Washington, MO. If you are passionate about shaping the world we live in and are ready to reengineer your future, trust the experts at hiring experts. 2nd
Shift Pay Rate:
$25 an hour plus Shift Differential Essential Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 4 & 5 axis CNC machining centers
- Run production to blueprint specifications
- QC inspection of parts to ensure parts are within tolerances
- Deburr parts as needed
- Daily PMs on machines
- Ensure work area conforms to 5S standards Qualifications
- HS Diploma, GED or pass pre-employment assessment
- 2+ years with CNC Mill setup & operation, preferably with multi-axis machining centers
- Ability to execute basic shop math
- Read blueprints including tolerances
- Utilize micrometer & calipers
- Use PPE – safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
- Experience with machining metals is preferred
- Experience with aerospace or other highly regulated industry a plus 9853781
