Tool Room Machinist Work Schedule:

Onsite – Murphy, NC To be considered for Tool Room Machinist, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. At least 1 year of machining experience in high mix/low volume machining environment such as tooling and/or job shops. Basic knowledge of G-code Good eyesight and dexterity As a Tool Room Machinist, you will: Set up and operate both CNC and manual machining equipment. Ability to plan machining work through interpretation of blueprints or sketches with assistance from other experience personnel. Use a variety of measuring tools and gaging to ensure machined parts meet blueprint specifications. Utilize reference materials, charts, shop mathematics, online references, and/or CAD software to complete machining tasks Able to perform general workmanship tasks such as, deburring, cleaning machinery, signing travelers, timecard review, and cleaning work area. Other tasks as assigned.

Salary Range Transparency:
