The Role You’re Applying For:
Our 5-Axis CNC Precision Setup Expert crafts intricate parts for bearings, seals, and aerospace components. You will bring exceptional skills as a Journeyman Machinist, equipped with a wide range of competencies.
Key Duties:
Create and validate complex parts through blueprints and sketches. Perform mathematical calculations for precision work. Decide the machine setup according to directives. Ensure a clean, hazard-free workspace, maintaining high quality and efficiency. Operate precision tools like dial calipers to sustain dimensional precision. Edit programs to rectify issues. Provide feedback on production concerns affecting quality or timelines. Spot areas for procedural upgrades to reduce runtime. Read and interpret intricate technical drawings. Handle heavy parts with cranes according to safe rigging practices.
What We’re Looking For:
High proficiency in 5-axis machine operation.
Educational background:
A technical degree or five years of relevant experience. Familiarity with brands like DMG MORI and Okuma. Excellent communication and presentation prowess. Math savvy; understanding algebra and geometry concepts. Aerospace experience is advantageous. Physical & Additional Requirements Adaptability to a machine shop environment. Capability to move and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Competence to read, understand, and apply complex data.
