STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Machinist to join the team. This position involves the set-up and operation of conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts.
Job Description
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications
Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
