Adecco has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Farmington, NH area to hire CNC Machinist! This is a full-time position and could be direct hire or temp to hire!

Position:

CNC Machinist

Pay:

$28.00-$37.00/hour depending on skills and experience

Job Description:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts to exact specifications for both short- and long-run production. Interpret engineering drawings, set-up sheets, and certified processes to ensure the final product meets dimensional and finish requirements. Use in-process inspection methods to ensure adnce to tight tolerances.
• Perform full machine setups, including selecting and installing proper tooling, making program edits, adjusting offsets, and verifying part programs. Ensure machines are running efficiently and producing qualityponents.
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, opticalparators, and microscopes to inspect parts and confirm accuracy during and after machining.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, identify root causes of dimensional errors or surface finish problems, and make corrective adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, tooling usage, and quality inspections. any irregularities in materials, processes, or equipment performance to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean andanized work area, follow all safety protocols, and ad to OSHA andpany safety regulations.
• Handle materials andponents safely and efficiently throughout the machining process.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience, including machine setup and tool selection
• Strong blue reading skills and ability to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Familiarity with G-code programming and ability to make minor edits at the machine
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Proficient in the use of precision inspection tools and equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Previous Applicable Skills & Experience:

• Experience setting up multi-axis CNC mills and/or lathes
• Ability to maintain tight tolerances in a production environment
• Proven track record of maintaining productivity and quality standards
• Experience working with various metals (e.g., aluminum, stainless steel, titanium)
• Capable of recognizing and addressing issues related to tooling wear, part alignment, or material defects
• Maintain detailed production records; work subject to inspection and quality control audits

Pay Details:

$28.00 to $37.00 per hour
