In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machining equipment to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to work with minimal supervision while ensuring high-quality standards. Responsibilities Operate lathes, milling machines, and other machining equipment to fabricate components according to specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machining processes. Set up machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tools and adjusting machine settings. Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making corrections as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficiency in operating lathes and milling machines with a strong understanding of machining principles. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as blueprints and schematics. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) for quality control checks. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining role is preferred but not mandatory.
