Job Description

Position Summary Delva Tool (DTM) is seeking a CNC Machinist for our Cinnaminson, NJ location . The CNC Machinist is responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines such as, but not limited to, lathes and mills. If you are looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success, Delva Tool is a great place to start! •This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm. Our work area is 100% climate controlled. The hiring range for this position is between $26.00 – $32.00/hr. depending on experience• Essential Duties and Responsibilities Load parts and/or material, prove programs, operate controls, perform simple edits after approval of engineer and inspect quality of parts for conformance to requirements. Study and interpret drawings, specifications of sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements. Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine (within capabilities) and controls as required to ensure quality of production. Effectively communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignment and to resolve machining or quality issues. Adhere and comply with state and federal law, the company AS/ISO Quality program and procedures, company policies, and safety and environmental regulations. Experience, Qualifications, and Skills High school diploma or GED. 1+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routing reports and correspondence. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read precision gauges and visual accuracy. Ability to produce precision work.
