MACHINIST
Diversified Control is an Orchard Park, NY custom metal and plastics manufacturer that has been operating for over 40 years. Among many projects, our main specialty is the design and production of enclosures of all sizes for the telecommunications industry. We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to assist in our Machine Shop. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of basic machine shop fundamentals accompanied by some CNC programming experience. Our CNC Machines use a standard G-code control system. Willingness to learn Autodesk Fusion 360 programming a plus. The duties associated with the position would include vertical milling, drilling, lathe operation, and surface grinding. The individual would be maintaining, repairing, and machining new die and mold components. They would be responsible for setting up short production runs. The person would set up work pieces, tools, and fixtures on CNC machines, monitor operations, and make necessary adjustments. We expect the candidate to perform quality checks for accuracy according to specs, possess the ability to use typical measuring and inspection equipment, and read blueprints, spec sheets, and work instructions.
