The successful applicant willwork on a manual lathe machine,milling machines, grinder, modification and repair work on a variety of electric rotating equipment. This work involves the calculation of dimensions and tolerances, the set-up, adjustment and operation of machine tools.

Responsibilities:

Capable of performing all mechanical measurements Basic mathematical capabilities with an understanding of tolerances Capable of reading mechanical drawings and specifications to applicable standards Knowledge of mechanical instruments, calibration techniques and requirements Operating principles and the use of the following equipment: •Manual Lathe Machine (Set-up and Operation) Usage of overhead cranes and material handling equipment

Usage of Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Air Tools Qualifications:

1-2 years’ experience in a related industry 2+ years of manual lathe experience Must have mechanical or electrical aptitude. Basic mathematical capabilities with an understanding of tolerances and bearing fits. Capable of reading mechanical drawings and specifications Understanding of safety concepts including
