Job OverviewWe are seeking a Grinding Machinist with experience in precision surface, cylindrical, and/or centerless grinding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to achieve exacting tolerances and surface finishes on a variety of metal parts.

Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate precision grinding machines (manual and/or CNC)Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsMeasure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision toolsMaintain grinding wheel profiles and ensure machine maintenance is up to dateMeet production schedules while maintaining high-quality standardsFollow all safety and quality control proceduresQualificationsSome exposure in a precision grinding environmentUnderstanding of surface finishes, and close-tolerance workAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience with materials such as stainless steel, tool steels, and exotic alloys preferredHigh attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality workTrade school certification or formal apprenticeship is a plusMust be reliableWhy Work with Us?
