Must Haves:
HS Diploma/GED and 4 years’ experience
Must be able to read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions.
Ability to maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
Must be mechanically inclined, and be able to work with very fragile and precise assemblies
Demonstrates appropriate computer knowledge. (training and records are kept electronically)
Proficient with operating Mills, surface grinder and lathe.
Must be able to perform as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment. Nice to
Haves:
Journeyman certificate
Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical fabrication discipline.
Aerospace or Defense industry experience.
Experience with CNC programming utilizing MasterCAM.
Experience working with composite materials.
Experience with MIG/TIG welding.
Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Tool Maker to join the assembly and integration team. Candidate must possess a machining and fabrication background and ability to work within tight tolerance specifications. Scope is focused on the timely execution of assigned tasks as an individual contributor and function well within a team environment. This role involves working directly with engineers on the design, development and fabrication of new and existing products to optimize design for manufacturability.
