- This is a first-shift, direct-hire position, paying
- $19-23/hour

Position Summary:
- As a CNC Machinist 3, you’ll be responsible for operating CNC milling machines to produce quality parts that meet customer specifications. This is a hands-on role in a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- + Set up and operate CNC milling machines; monitor cycles for tool wear or issues + Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other measuring tools + Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure parts meet required specs + Record production and quality data accurately and completely + Maintain proper lubrication levels and perform routine maintenance on equipment + Load raw material into machines and verify settings before and during runs + Troubleshoot malfunctions, replace tools as needed, and make necessary adjustments + Follow quality assurance procedures and adhere to ISO standards + Communicate effectively across shifts by documenting actions and production status + Maintain a clean and safe workspace, wearing proper PPE and following all safety protocols + Support additional operations such as deburring during machine cycles as needed •
Qualifications:
- + High school diploma, BOCES, or technical school graduate + Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC machining or machine center operation + Strong understanding of blueprint reading and precision measurement tools + Ability to work independently and stay focused on detail and quality + Familiarity with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ISO-compliant practices
