Job Description:

Night Shift- CNC Mill Operator We are seeking a skilled CNC MillOperator for night shift (9 PM to 7 AM.) The ideal candidate willbe responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining centersto produce both metallic and non-metallic components. This rolerequires a solid understanding of machining principles, shopmathematics, and material properties to ensure high-qualityfabrication and assembly of parts.

Responsibilities:

Analyzeblueprints, manuals, and specifications to ascertain thedimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations for themachining process. Set up and secure fixtures, cutting tools, andmaterials on CNC machines to prepare for operation. Monitor machineperformance during operation, identifying any malfunctions ordeviations from specifications, and make necessary adjustments tomaintain quality. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such asmicrometers and height gauges, to verify the dimensions of finishedcomponents. Deburr edges and holes of machined parts, ensuring theyare protected from damage throughout the production process.

Requirements:

Proven experience in operating and maintaining CNCMills. Proficient in recognizing when measurements deviate fromspecifications and skilled in using bore gauges. Strong ability toread and interpret blueprints, including various view orientationsand tolerance specifications. Familiarity with identifyingmaterials, dimensions, hole specifications, and threadingrequirements based on technical drawings. Competence in settingbasic tool offsets, adjusting cutter compensation values, andunderstanding fundamental “G” codes.
