Follows instructions to machine, fabricate, orassemble parts to print and operation sheet specifications usingconventional, CNC, and sheet metal machines including saws,riveters, fasteners, setters, presses, spot welders, and hand toolsincluding grinders, Helicoil installation tools, etc. Performssecondary operations during the machine cycle such as deburring andstraightening. Performs sheet metal/machine shop general laborertasks including but not limited to grinding/sanding weldments usingportable and stationary pneumatic tools, straightening bent andtwisted parts/assemblies using manual jacks and hydraulic presses,washing parts/assemblies in aqueous and ultrasonic machines, assistpainters with prep work, sand/shot blasting steel weldments.

Inspects parts as they are produced using standard gages,micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, depth gages, and othermeasuring devices, to ensure conformity to specifications.

BasicQualifications:
