CNC Machinist Position Available In Northampton, Pennsylvania

Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC Press Brake and other machinery. You will engage in precision sheet metal forming, collaborate with engineering personnel, and uphold safety standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Program, operate, and perform standard maintenance on the CNC Press Brake for precision sheet metal forming. Plan and organize work activities in logical manufacturing order to effectively complete tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and layouts with basic proficiency. Use angle grinders for grinding, deburring, and cutting activities. Operate hand drills, magnetic drills, and small drill press machines for drilling, reaming, and countersinking. Utilize shears and iron workers effectively. Understand and work with austenitic stainless steel, aluminum, and low carbon grade steel. Handle materials, unload trucks, and correctly place products. Perform routine machine and plant maintenance as needed. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other lifting devices. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Degree or GED. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with material handling and industrial equipment. Work Environment Work in a manufacturing facility with approximately 30 employees on the floor and a machining department. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. The facility utilizes various equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, and hydraulic sheet metal rollers.
