Manufactured components are used primarilyin generators and Ram Air Turbines (RAT) used for aircraftemergency power generation. Our Ram Air Turbines save lives, over2,600 lives. Collins York is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist tojoin our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will operate CNC lathes,mills, grinders, and other specialized equipment to convert rawmaterials into precision semi-finished goods. You will also performfinish work and marking on piece parts at various stages ofproduction. All work is done in a clean, climate controlledfacility where we put safety and quality first in everything we do.

What You Will Do:

• You will operate CNC lathes, mills, grindersand other specialized CNC and manual equipment and/or performfinish work and marking of piece parts in various stages ofproduction.
• You will be expected to set-up and run machines on awide variety of operations involving multiple machines that convertraw materials to precision semi-finished goods within printtolerance specification.
• You will be required to obtaininspection certification through on-the-job training & testing.

• Friday, 3:00 pm
• 11:00 pm

Training Schedule:

Monday

• Friday, 7:00 am
• 3:00 pm for 90 days.

• Cross-functionalcollaboration through various types of manufacturing and processes.
• Gain experience with inspection equipment.

Qualifications YouMust Have:

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.

g.

G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in relateddiscipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with measurement equipment,i.e. gauges, calipers, etc.
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Experience with the computer and multiple computer applications(including email, internet, and other job-specific applications).
• Experience with math skills, including adding and subtractingdecimals
• Experience reading, interpreting, and followingblueprints.
