Machinist Position Available In Darlington, South Carolina

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and programming NC mills, as well as hands-on experience with manual machining equipment. This position requires a high level of precision, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to quality and safety. 

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, set up, and program NC mills to produce precision parts.

Use programming software such as Esprit or MasterCam to develop efficient machining processes.

Work with a variety of manual machine tools including lathes, mills, and grinders.

Inspect finished parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

A technical degree or certification in Machine Shop or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a machine shop environment.

Proficiency in operating and programming NC mills.

Experience with CNC programming software such as Esprit, MasterCam, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of machine shop equipment and machining techniques.

Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
