What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED equivalent
1+ years of experience operating CNC milling or lathe machines
Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality
Solid basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
Demonstrated ability to safely operate and maintain assigned machinery and equipment
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
What You’ll Do as a Machinist
Fabricate precision parts according to client specifications
Set up and operate a wide range of manual and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including mills, drills, grinders, lathes, and horizontal/vertical boring equipment, to perform machining operations ranging from simple to highly complex
Select, prepare, and grind tools based on material properties, machine capabilities, and hardness specifications
Utilize various precision measuring instruments to ensure part accuracy and quality
Accurately document processes and present results in a clear and organized manner
Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and operational needs
