As a Machinist II, you’ll perform setup, manual operations on a variety of machining equipment.

Night Shift:

3:15pm•1:45am Monday•Thursday (2nd Shift) What you’ll do: Machine products to tight tolerances
Reads and interprets specification manuals, blueprints, templates and layouts to determine machining operation to be performed
Verifies dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges and micrometers
Computes dimensions and tolerances and measures and lays out work pieces
Adjusts and sets up machine tools for use by machining tool operators
Participates in the cross training of other technicians as needed to support production requirements
Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality
Compute and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy
Observing all applicable safety practices Carries out other duties as assigned

Requirements:

3 years•5 years experience in Machinist Previous or current knowledge and experience with manual machine tools operations
Experienced with operating lathes or mills and using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers)
Ability to read and interpret manuals and technical drawings
Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and hand tools Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Preferred:
