We are searching for a recent Tech school graduate who is looking for additional experience and knowledge of CNC. Or someone who has interest in learning the trade. We are currently looking for an associate with Technical School training in CNC Machine Operation who is looking for growth potential and has the motivation to help Tennessee Tool Works to become known as the premier machine shop in Middle Tennessee. Tennessee Tool Works makes anything from test prototypes to large production orders. Responsibilities and Duties Ability to operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders to produce products. Willingness to learn new equipment and processes. Ability to follow manufacturing processes and procedures. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledgeable with measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Prioritize, track, and report the status of all jobs and work orders in a timely fashion. Specify and request materials and tooling as needed to complete assigned projects. Utilize good verbal and written communication skills when reporting project status to management or project teams and during interface with both customers and suppliers. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Qualifications and Skills Technical School training in CNC Machine Operation, a plus! 1 year experience utilizing manual lathes and mills, a plus! Willingness to learn new equipment and processes Must be able to work overtime as needed to ensure Tennessee Tool Works meets all project deadlines.
