Hubbell Incorporated Job Overview Operate the plating line and contribute to the efficient operation of manufacturing duties to produce quality parts for our customers. Operate machinery, move and transfer material in orderly manner to insure proper flow of service and operations to all departments. Comply with current ISO requirements, all safety requirements, and good housekeeping standards. A Day In The Life + Complete monthly & quarterly ADEM Discharge Monitoring Reports + Gather composite samples monthly and submit to TTL for test results. + Assure we are plating the parts to the shop order and print. + Communicate to the supervisor if information is inaccurate or missing. + Verify plating line set up is correctly + Delicately handle the parts to ensure they are not damaged. + Check parts coming off the line to ensure the parts are clean, dry and not sticky. + May be required to perform other duties as directed by supervisors. What will help you thrive in this role? + Language Skills – Good communication skills are key. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Mathematical Skills- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Experience working with consolidations.
