Florala, Alabama Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Embroidery Machine Operator to operate and maintain a 6-head commercial embroidery machine. The ideal candidate will have prior embroidery machine (or) sewing machine experience and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic production environment. This role also includes responsibilities related to sublimation printing and heat transfer equipment. Training will be provided for candidates new to sublimation and heat pressing. Key Responsibilities Embroidery Machine Operation Set up and operate a 6-head commercial embroidery machine to produce high-quality embroidered garments and products. Interpret design files and production instructions to ensure accurate design placement, thread color selection, and garment compatibility. Hoop garments properly and align materials for precise embroidery. Thread needles, replace bobbins, and manage thread changes as needed during the production process. Monitor embroidery operations to detect and resolve issues such as thread breakage, alignment errors, or machine malfunctions. Conduct quality control checks on finished items and perform necessary corrections or rework. Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on embroidery machines. Maintain inventory of threads, needles, stabilizers, and other materials used in embroidery. Sublimation & Heat Transfer Operation Operate sublimation printers and heat press machines to apply graphics to various substrates including apparel, mugs, and signage. Prepare and position transfer prints accurately for heat pressing. Adjust heat press settings for temperature, pressure, and time based on material specifications. Ensure print quality, color accuracy, and proper adhesion on all sublimated items. Maintain sublimation and heat transfer equipment in good working condition. General Duties Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Work collaboratively with production team members to meet deadlines and production goals. Assist with cross-training and support other areas of production when needed. Report equipment issues or product quality concerns promptly to supervisor. Qualifications Experience with commercial embroidery equipment (multi-head preferred) is a plus. Experience with commercial sewing machine can be considered. Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality and design precision. Ability to follow instructions, read production files, and interpret design layouts. Basic computer literacy and comfort with design software and production systems. Willingness to learn sublimation and heat transfer printing techniques. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to [Insert Weight Limit, e.g., 50 lbs].
