Job Description

Warehouse Job Description:

Performs a variety of warehouse functions including stocking, picking, and packing merchandise for customer orders

  • Must be able to obtain a forklift certification
  • Able to work overtime if required
  • Must not be afraid of heights
  • Work in an ambient (non-air conditioned) building
  • Must be able to work all shifts
  • Good organization skills and math skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of computers and software programs
  • Good working knowledge of scanners and their programs
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to walk, bend, stoop and stand for 8+ hours a day.
Assembly Production:

A Production Assembler is responsible for operating equipment in a factory or warehouse and preparing items for distribution. Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-product products such as valves for plumbing and heating purposes by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities:

Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approve specifications and quality standardsPlaces parts in specified relationship to each otherBolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fastens parts togetherTends machines, such as automated machinery, to perform operations on assembly lineRotate through multiple stations on a shift to be familiar with all assemblyCommunicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracyRoutinely practice 6s (Safety, Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)Ensures that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materialsConserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum wastePacks up completed products and prepares them for shipmentReports issues or problems with production (equipment defects) to immediate SupervisorObserve and removes fault product parts from assembly lineOther duties as assigned.
