Coating Operator Indorama Ventures Mobility Scottsboro SafeTweave 302 Serrano Way, Scottsboro, AL 35769 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Coating Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure high-quality production. This position requires a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a 3rd shift position. Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am. Responsibilities Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards. Operate machinery to apply coating on fabric. Ability to push, pull, and or lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to follow work instructions & customer specification sheets, possess basic computer skills, maintain legible handwriting skills, meet schedules and timelines. Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the workspace. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe working environment while adhering to safety protocols. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity. Skills Competence in machining processes and materials handling practices. Ability to safely operate machinery in an industrial setting. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
