Full Job Description Position Summary:
Position Summary:

Performs operation, maintenance and quality inspection of a variety of color printed check and check related products. Equipment operation includes digital devices such as Canon i300, Ricoh8300 series or similar.

Job Responsibilities:

Multi-task to deliver printed product on time, demonstrating proficiency in coordinating and prioritizing print projects with substantial focus on producing a quality printed product rapidly and efficiently. Perform press cleaning, replenishing of consumables, and replacing of filters, bottles and waste containers Monitors repairs, adjustments and general maintenance procedures as necessary Contact and interface with press vendor support as necessary Respond quickly and appropriately to fault, error, and alert messages Troubleshoot and report problems that occur during job submission or the printing process Ensure proper paper handling, conditioning and loading Monitor and report environmental changes that may impact equipment performance (humidity and temperature) Ensure required resources are available in order to efficiently produce printed product (substrates, supplies, etc.) Batch, prioritize, and release to print all orders assigned to digital print equipment Evaluate output, make adjustments and report issues in order to obtain high level of image quality Make the appropriate and productive job setting choices at the workstation and server Identify and execute opportunities to increase efficiencies, maximize throughput, minimize waste and improve the quality process Follows production workflow to produce high volumes of work, using high end digital print equipment Run orders on time while maximizing the equipment throughput and productivity Follow policies & procedures; Ensure a clean and organized facility; Follow safety precautions

Required Skills/Experience:

High School graduate or GED Ability to handle multiple tasks, good organizational skills and work with little supervision Experience with multiple computer GUI’s (Graphic User Interface) Comfortable reading and interpreting a Digital Interface, releasing and sequencing jobs in a queue Working understanding of basic color theory Non-essential Duties and Responsibilities Employees in this position may be asked to perform other duties as assigned within the department or other areas of production. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
