Birmingham, Alabama, United States Talascend is currently seeking an Operator for a contract opportunity located in Birmingham, AL.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Operator to support manufacturing and production activities in a controlled cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques and possess a keen attention to detail for cleaning and sanitization procedures, equipment maintenance, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform aseptic operations with minimal supervision in Grade D/C cleanrooms and Grade A filler/isolators.
Clean and sanitize cleanrooms according to microbiological standards.
Clean and sanitize production equipment using manual and automated methods (e.g., hand wiping, CIP, SIP).
Support housekeeping duties and maintain inventory of consumable supplies.
Assist with maintenance, calibration, and improvement of facilities and equipment.
Follow all written procedures and safety guidelines.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in a technical field.
0-2 years of relevant industry experience (as determined by management).
Basic computer and math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to follow detailed written instructions.
Familiarity with lab glassware.
Basic knowledge of system controls and data logging software.
