• Put protection caps on all units.
• Add loadtags to loads.
• Program the unitizing machine by measuring loadsand inputting codes.
• Communicate with fabricating machines whendeviations affect the outgoing unit’s quality.
• Check loads forquality as they pass through the process.
• Perform maintenance onthe equipment as necessary.
• Tear down the heads on the machinewhen banding jams occur.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the workarea.

3:00 pm – 11:00 amand sometimes 3:00 pm – 3:00 am
