Job Title:

Extruder Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator with a strong background in machining and metal extrusion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, loading, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion machinery to ensure high-quality production. This role requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to perform quality checks throughout the production process.

Responsibilities Machine Setup and Operation:

Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to specifications. Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.

Loading and Monitoring:

Load raw materials into the extrusion machine and monitor the extrusion process to ensure consistent quality and output.

Quality Control:

Perform regular quality checks on extruded products to ensure they meet company standards. Identify and address any defects or issues promptly.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational issues. Ensure all equipment is kept in optimal working condition.

Basic Math Skills:

Utilize basic math skills to measure and calculate material requirements and production outputs.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of production data, including material usage, output quantities, and quality control.

Safety:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Essential Skills Proven experience in machining and operating extrusion machinery. Ability to set up, load, monitor, and maintain extrusion equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations related to production. Previous experience in the extrusion of metals is highly desirable. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals.
