Job Description
Laser and Turret Lead (B259) Express Employment Professionals in Decatur AL is currently hiring a Laser and Turret Lead for a company located in Decatur, AL . Position is full-time and has potential for long term employment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Utilizes the Work Center Dispatch Report in due date order to coordinate workflow scheduling. Exceptions will be communicated by production control or operations manager.
- Must be able to perform all job requirements of a Turret Operator and Laser Operator.
- Must be able to train operators in job details, safe operation of equipment and safety awareness.
- Assists the operators with set-ups, tooling changes, questions and workload responsibilities.
- Keep Operations Manager advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations.
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
- Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.
- Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition, performs preventative maintenance, light maintenance tasks of equipment and follows prescribed safety procedures.
- Ability to work with chemicals, solvents and lubricants.
- Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.
