Supervisor/Machine Operator Direct Staffing, LLC Decatur, AL 35603 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively as part of an assembly line team. Duties Operate various types of machinery, including lathes and other factory equipment, to produce high-quality products. Utilize hand tools and calipers for precise measurements and adjustments. Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure product specifications are met. Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance. Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper packaging and storage in accordance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals and deadlines. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Experience Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred. Familiarity with logic controllers and programming is advantageous. Strong understanding of materials handling processes within a factory setting. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
