Job Title:

Winder Operator Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Winder Operator to join our team. The operator will be responsible for monitoring machines and computers to ensure the proper stretch of plastics, changing out rolls, and monitoring scraps and defects. This role involves physical work 40% of the time and monitoring tasks 60% of the time. Responsibilities Monitor machines and computers to ensure the proper stretch of plastics. Change out rolls and ensure proper alignment. Monitor and manage scraps and defects during the production process. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on winding machines. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Participate in an intensive training week before starting shifts. Essential Skills Experience with plastics and food-grade manufacturing. Proficiency in computer skills. Ability to perform physical tasks and handle rolls of various sizes. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production, machine operation, and assembly. Knowledge in extrusion and heavy lifting. Experience in machine operating and machine set up.
