This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate and maintain saws and related machinery for cutting materials. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate cuts. Perform quality inspections on finished products to meet company standards. Assemble components as needed following established procedures. Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks related to the operation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Assist in tooling changes and setups as required. Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency. Skills Proficiency in operating lathes and other machining equipment. Strong blueprint reading skills for accurate interpretation of designs. Experience with hand tools and their application in manufacturing processes. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments for quality assurance. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. Ability to conduct thorough quality inspections of products. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to cutting processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
