- Job description:
- This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.
- Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
- The person in this position will ensure proper ingredients and quantities are used for marination formulas and ensure marination mix is maintained proper temperature and in accordance with specifications.
- Team member in this position will be responsible for filling out Quality Assurance verifications and using handheld scanning devices to manage inventory of ingredients utilized.
- The Person in this position will communicate any issues to the Lead and/or Supervisor immediately, and perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to verify the correct product, ingredients and amounts are utilized for marination mixes.
- Must be able to constantly climb stairs while carrying ingredients to dump into the marination tank.
- Basic math (adding and subtracting) skills are required to keep track of the pounds needed and dumped into the marination tank.
- Must be able to obtain the pallet jack license after being in the job for 2 weeks.
