Position Summary The Equipment Operator II is responsible forthe safe and efficient operation of moderately complex automatedassembly machines. This individual will ensure the continuedoperation of assembly machines through interpretation of andappropriate response to machine faults and will perform moderatelycomplex, repetitive tasks associated with machine operation,maintaining a moderate level of equipment attentiveness. EssentialDuties & Responsibilities All essential duties and responsibilitiesof Equipment Operator I, in addition to those outlined below.

Adjust parameters (within allowable limits) to ensure good qualityand optimal machine efficiency. Interpret machine faults anddetermine root cause. Rectify the issue (within the validatedcondition of the equipment) such that fault no longer occurs.

Perform minor machine adjustments, changeovers, and setups withoutmaintenance intervention. Complete basic Preventive Maintenance(PM) and repair tasks, under direction of Technician. Operatemanufacturing lines, coordinating with multiple team members toensure required tasks are completed. Demonstrate flexibility tosuccessfully run multiple or more complex machines to meet linestandards. Proactively work with supervisor/coordinator to scheduleWO/PM work. Close out WO/PM tasks within appropriate CMMS system.

Participate in team meetings or problem-solving improvements asrequested. Mentor and train other team members as required. ProcessOracle Transactions (Backflushing) as required. Support overtimeactivities as required. Quals Knowledge and Skills Demonstratedability to complete / assist with tooling changes on assignedlines. Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computerexperience preferred. Able to read and understand procedures. Mustbe able to perform visual inspections with and without the aid ofmagnification tools. Minimum Qualifications, Education andExperience High school diploma or GED required. 6 months to 1 yearexperience required. Must be 18 years of age. Work Environment Thisjob operates in a clean room environment. Use solvents, glue, orsolder. While performing the duties of this job, the employee maybe required to sit or stand for the duration of the shift. Employeeis regularly required to talk or hear. Must be able to repetitivelymove and lift objects of up to 20 lbs. Position does not requiretravel.
