Set Up Technician Position Available In Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut

Job Description:

Nesco Resource is looking for a Setup Technician located inDanbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the rightcandidate.

Shift:

Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM (Can be modified basedon location/commute)

Pay:

$25/Hour or depending on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and mechanicallyinclined Set-Up Technician responsible for preparing and setting upproduction machinery to support efficient and accuratemanufacturing operations. This role involves working with a varietyof tools and equipment to ensure machines are properly configuredfor each job assignment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Performmechanical set-up of machines using appropriate hand tools (e.g.,wrenches, socket sets, Allen wrenches) based on job specifications.

Install tooling into die sets and then mount the complete die setinto the appropriate press. Utilize precision measurement tools,including micrometers, dial indicators, and TMM equipment, toverify accurate set-ups. Interpret blueprints and technicaldrawings (preferred). Conduct set-ups on various presses/machines,such as:

Dorst Cincinnati Yoshi Gasbarre Alpha Qualifications:

HighSchool Diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience settingup mechanical presses or similar equipment preferred. Familiaritywith basic mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus. Strongattention to detail, with a commitment to safety and accuracy.
