The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various bindery equipment to ensure high-quality production of printed materials. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of print processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Duties Operate bindery equipment including cutters, folders, and stitchers to produce finished printed products. Monitor production quality throughout the bindery process, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards. Perform routine maintenance on bindery machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively. Assist in layout design and color management to achieve desired outcomes in print advertising materials. Fabricate and assemble printed materials as required, ensuring accuracy in machining processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize forklift equipment for material handling as needed. Experience Proven experience as a Bindery Operator or similar role in the printing industry is preferred. Familiarity with quality control processes and techniques related to print production. Knowledge of typography principles and their application in print media is advantageous. Experience with CNC machinery is a plus, as well as an understanding of press operations. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
