Mid-level High school diploma or GED Computer skills IPC-610 Certification 2 years Communication skills Surface mount technology Full Job Description Summary The Solder Operator is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components on a variety of circuit board assemblies encompassing Pin Thru-hole and Surface Mount Technologies for Mack Technologies Florida, Inc. This is a 2nd shift position (Monday – Friday 3:30pm – 11:30pm). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow assembly procedures and process documentation. Verify integrity of material to be assembled. Assemble and/or solder electronic components in specific printed circuit board locations, following procedure and/or visual aide instruction. Inspect circuit board assembly parts to determine soldering requirements. Pre-form component leads per process documentation. Identify and report defective components. Responsible for the accuracy of work-in process associated with work cell. Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding workspace. Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures. Maintain ESD integrity within production environment. May train other employees. Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent education.

Certified preferred. 2+ years of experience in soldering printed circuit board assemblies required. Must pass hands-on soldering skills test. Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature. Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC Standards. ESD Training. Ability to read procedures and interpret visual aids. Basic computer skills, problem solving and workstation skills. Experience with high-volume work. Must have the ability to operate in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic work environment. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
