Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Fabric Cutting Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to cut fabric materials for various products. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up laser cutting machines for fabric cutting according to specifications and work orders. Ensure the accuracy and quality of cut fabric by following the blueprint or design provided. Monitor the laser cutting machine’s performance, make adjustments as needed, and troubleshoot any machine issues. Maintain and clean laser cutting machines and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks on fabric after cutting to ensure it meets the required standards. Load and unload fabric materials onto the laser cutting machine and handle finished products carefully. Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and production goals. Record production data, including material usage, machine settings, and any issues encountered. Follow all safety protocols and workplace regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment (preferred). Knowledge of fabric types, properties, and handling techniques. Strong understanding of laser cutting technology and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications. Attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections. Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and time-management skills. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in CNC or laser cutting is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry fabric materials and finished products. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with potential for overtime. Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and equipment. Adherence to safety standards and guidelines is required.
