At FlexTekESR, our mission is to provide innovative, efficient, and reliable sandbag solutions to protect communities and critical infrastructure from flooding and natural disasters. Sand-bagging is an essential component of flood control, ensuring the safety and well-being of those affected by floods. The technician will be responsible for filling 30-pound sandbags using our ESR system, stacking them, and assisting with distributing them to help stay ahead of potential flooding events.

On Call Duties & Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate automated bagging unit Attach bags to machine for filling Put full bags into sealers for closure Lift and stack filled bags onto pallets Assist with Loading and offloading bulk sandbags into open trucks or trailers. Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance Report any mechanical issues associated with equipment to the Manager on duty. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by completing housekeeping requirements Ensure that the loading area and other areas of the sandbagging yard are kept clean and free of debris

Qualifications:

Able to safely operate equipment Able to lift 30-50 pounds on a repetitive basis Strong ability to work well with others in a positive and professional manner Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, in varying temperatures, and around moving equipment. Able to bend/stoop, squat/crouch, push/pull, climb, kneel, twist and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Able to follow instructions and willingness to learn Responsible, reliable, and punctual. #
