We’re seeking a dependable, detail-driven Picnic Manager to lead event setups, oversee part-time helpers, maintain quality standards, and ensure clients receive an elevated, stress-free experience. Responsibilities Oversee full event setups and breakdowns, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met Load and transport décor, tables, signage, and equipment Delegate tasks to assistants and maintain a positive, productive team environment Follow setup guides for themed picnics Communicate with clients professionally when welcoming them upon their arrival Ensure inventory is maintained, cleaned, and packed correctly before and after events Adapt quickly to weather changes or last-minute adjustments Report directly to the owner and help improve setup efficiency and staff performance Requirements Prior event, hospitality, or operations experience strongly preferred Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and moving wagons across sand Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required Strong time management, delegation, and leadership skills Eye for design, layout, and attention to detail in visual presentation Self-starter who’s comfortable leading a setup solo if needed Must be available weekends and evenings Compensation & Perks Pay starting at $20/hr. based on experience Bonuses available for large event management or repeat 5-star reviews Flexible schedule with potential to grow with the business Creative, energetic, and scenic work environment
