Machine Operator/Technician Jacksonville, Florida Shift:
Mon – Thurs, 5:00am to 5:00pm Pay starts: $19/hr
W2 +/- DOE

Job Overview & Responsibilities:
Under general supervision performs all responsibilities necessary to operate, troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain the injection molding machines and metrology equipment. Able to perform a variety of tasks needed to monitor and adjust the process to improve quality. Assist with Preventative Maintenance of equipment. Monitor equipment and process status for new products. Able to perform routine cleaning and non-routine maintenance with adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives. Maintain current knowledge and adhere to provisions of FDA, OSHA, GMP, MPs, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, equipment specifications and process specifications. Monitors and adjusts the process to improve throughout. Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the equipment while adhering to all safety procedures in the Injection Molding area. Performs routine cleaning and clearing of equipment.
Qualifications:
High School Degree or equivalent. 2+ year’s maintenance or engineering experience with high volume production line environment. General knowledge and troubleshooting skills in one or more of the following areas: Process improvement Electro/mechanical devices Safety devices Equipment installation Debug and qualification Electro-mechanical troubleshooting/repair Production start-up Equipment process development Mechanical devices controller Troubleshooting CNC Machining Basic hand tools Flexibility to rotate between day and night shift. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Office equipment used:
personal computer, printer, copier, Microsoft Office Suite, other software as required. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Physical demands of the job include stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25 pounds), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, fingering, and climbing.
