The Machine Operator is responsible for the operation of unique machines which assist the operator in the production of cigars. The essential skills and experience require an individual who has the ability to: Machine set up; loading dies and binder, monitors to ensure equipment is running efficiently and performs visual diagnostic checks. Follows work order, quality control and sanitation procedures. Performs quality control and material waste checks Performs pre-operational checks. Maintains and exceeds production, quality and safety standards. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area. The requirements for consideration are High School diploma or equivalent GED Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating machinery in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 pounds Must be capable of using both hands simultaneously and operating a foot pedal as part of daily machine tasks Must be able to sit for extended periods during an 8-hour work shift Physical Demands and Work Environment of the

Must be able to sit for extended periods during an 8-hour work shift Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of materials weighing up to 20 pounds Continuous use of a foot pedal to operate and control machine functions Frequent use of both hands and fine motor skills for handling tobacco leaves, laying individual cigar leaves onto the machine die, ensuring product consistency Repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements are required throughout the shift Ability to maintain focus, attention to detail, and manual dexterity during repetitive and task-focused work Must have adequate visual acuity to inspect tobacco products and ensure adherence to quality standards May involve occasional bending or reaching to load/unload materials or perform minor adjustments to the machine The work environment is maintained at a controlled temperature and humidity due to the nature of the product The noise level in the overall work environment is usually moderate, but if performing work in areas deemed high noise areas, i.e. cigar operation, hearing protection will be supplied and required while in designated areas.
