Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Control and adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Uses overhead crane, powered forklifts, and pallet jacks to shuttle processed material from “Processing Area” to weld area(s). Responsible for deburring all parts with sharp edges. Shuttles and bands completed parts to welder/fitters Uses labeling system to maintain proper ID Markings for steel Maintains reas “DAILY” by wrapping up leads, cords, putting away grinders, putting tools in toolboxes, putting scrap steel in scrap barrels, thoroughly sweeping area as needed. Responsible for meeting production timelines set by Shop Lead. Works under the close direction of Shop Lead and/or senior personnel in the functional area. Can read a tape accurately to a 16th of an inch. During final process identify all minor/major parts by quantifying parts/ part #’s, job #’s, uring colored tags respective to the color chosen for the job. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects welding and it’s processes. Travel to job sites may be required May require 0-1 year of general work experience. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, design drawings, customer specifications, professional journals, technical procedures Ability to read, write, speak and listen analyze, and interpret written and oral instruction Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Must be an individual that pays keen attention to even the smallest of details Must have good judgement and decision-making abilities
