Job Responsibilities:

Set up and operate duct fabrication machines (such as coil lines, plasma cutters, brake presses, shears, and roll formers). Load and feed film and wire into the machine according to production specifications. Measure, mark, and inspect metal materials for quality and conformance. Perform machine adjustments to maintain product quality and minimize waste. Monitor the production process and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed. Safely load and unload raw materials and finished products. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines. Stand for extended periods while operating the duct machine throughout the shift. Monitor the machine closely to ensure core layers and coils are produced correctly according to specifications. Safely remove finished wire and coil materials from the machine. Regularly inspect the machine during operation to confirm it is running properly and efficiently. Work in a hot production environment — must be able to tolerate and perform duties in high-temperature conditions. Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to keep the machine running smoothly. Keep the work area clean and free of hazards. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience operating duct fabrication machinery or working in a metal manufacturing environment preferred. 1-2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Ability to lift 20-30 lbs. and stand for extended periods, including working in a hot environment. Construction background is a plus. Must be available to work overtime.
