Job Description
Transport materials from the lumber yard (located 2-3 blocks from the job site) to the work area throughout the day, ensuring that the necessary materials are delivered on time for thecompletion of the job.
Operate various machinery and equipment to move materials, including but not limited to forklifts, loaders, and other construction machines.
Coordinate with the head supervisor to schedule material deliveries and ensure that materials are brought to the job site as needed for ongoing work.
Assist in removing debris from upper floors, safely transporting it to designated dumpsters to maintain a clean and safe job site.
Provide support to other team members and assist with additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure that the work environment is compliant with company standards and OSHA regulations.
Regularly test machine performance and operating capacity, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
Machine Operating training/certification required.
Safety training (OSHA) that covers proper handling of materials, machinery operating, and adherence to workplace safety standards.
