Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for an Assembler with a company that manufactures bicycle accessories and racks in the Bradenton, FL area.
Duties:
Work with a group or individually to build assemblies and products based on written instructions and verbal guidance. Participate in housekeeping and organization of shared workstations. Perform final quality checks of subassemblies and finished products during assembly builds. Test internal and outsourced parts and products for quality and identify non-conforming parts at all stages of the assembly process. Operate a hand drill and other equipment to correctly assemble component parts as well as complex products.
Requirements:
Ability to work at a consistent pace within a team environment or individually, as directed by leadership. Consistent attendance and punctuality. Comfortable switching between small part assembly and faster-paced assembly-line builds. Ability to bend and reach repeatedly; Ability to lift, move, and carry bins of product and material weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis; Positive attitude & ability to work with others; and Ability to remain standing at a workstation for up to 8 hours.
