Job Description

  • Job Title:

    CNC Machine Operator

  • 4•9 Hour Shifts•3:30pm•1am Monday•Thursday•Work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours•Job Description•Join our team as a CNC Machinist, where you will run a 3-axis CNC lathe or mill to produce high volumes of parts essential for our products.

You will be responsible for inspecting parts, setting up machines, and changing out tooling. You will work primarily with materials such as iron, brass, and stainless steel, with occasional work with plastics.

  • Responsibilities
  • + Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes. + Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers. + Load materials into machines, select programs, and run parts based on orders and diagrams. + Perform 2 to 3 setups per day, primarily machining with brass, aluminum, or stainless steel. + Edit M code and G code as needed. + Conduct manual machining and change out tooling.
  • Essential Skills
  • + Minimum 6 months of experience in CNC machining. + Proficiency in reading blueprints. + Ability to use micrometers and calipers with precision down to .0001 of an inch. + Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and standing all day.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Experience with manual machining is beneficial. + Ability to perform machine setup and changeovers. + Familiarity with 3-axis CNC operations. + Knowledge of M code and G code is a plus.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $18.00
  • $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
